To all
AGHF has been abducted by my parent company (which I run) UnFocused LLC. Don't worry, UnFocused.org was abducted by them also.
We plan a lot of changes soon to the AGHF forum. I'm STILL not satisfied with the way this site loads. Be it that this platform is a stock phpbb system, it really doesn't fit my liking.
For UnFocused, we have migrated 4245 arcade games (AGHF has 212) from its forum system to a standalone system. As of this writing, the arcade system is still being written, I expect it to be finaled by 8pm Wednesday. I have made some great progress with it.
For June - August, UnFocused NocOPS (Network Operators) will be working on converting AGHF users to the UnFocused system. What does this mean to you? Nothing really. The great SarahC (Moonybeam) has already completed the migration of the "theme" of this forum and all of you will be migrated to it.
Granted, things will look a bit different, and features will go away. However, if there is a feature that you are looking for, please by all means let me know. The site will actually be migrated to its new platform: hockey.unfocused.org - but hockeyfighters.com will not fully go away for a couple of years.
When I convert the system, all AGHF users will keep their same username and password. However, the discussions will not be moved over. Instead, this forum as you see it will become a read-only archive. Of course, I will have the ability to migrate any discussions over, and the choice to migrate the whole forum database is still up for debate. UnFocused NOC Admins are still debating which is the best road to take. Most of this will depend on how much time we have before the preseason starts. We hope to have a preseason before the opening of the regular season....when is that by the way?
By converting the system into the UnFocused system, I am able to write some better applications, games, and contests for everybody. Adding fights to the database will be easier and less work. We'll also have a bit of a wagering system and some more fun ideas as well.
I would not be putting this time and effort into the conversion if I didnt believe it was the best decision for the AGHF community. I honestly believe that this will bring a spark back to the forums, and we'll be able to carry on like we did before.
Questions, Concerns, Comments? Leave a message (beep!)

Looking back over some of my old stuff, lots of Thornton AHL fights, along with some John Badduke. A bunch of always entertaining Dan Lacroix fights.
Not a fan but I have a few BGL fights, one of them the loss to Barry Dreger that Georges was opened up. Mess of Norfolk fights from 05/06.
A few others may have these but few are willing to share. I'm still up in the air, I intentionally held back on a few dvds I already held before I resumed trading. Didnt offer them out for trade.
I have a bunch of Bonvie fights that I havent seen on the net. Maybe they are allready there.
I always wanted to share my older stuff and show the gomers I walked the walk. Didnt understand the clip game and still don't, some clone on one of the elite sites belittled my clips and said 'anyone can make clips'.
I notice HE never did. More of the typical hot air ya get in the world.
I didnt realize how easy it was to plunder sites. Guess Youtube is to blame.
I never claimed to HAVE exclusive material, was just willing to share stuff that others wanted to hoard.
And I found that Roberge Bros fight with BOTH fighters that I remember chaps singin the blooz bout not bein able to locate.Sure glad I never let anyone else have access to.
